I'm not sure if there was an update, or maybe I just missed it last time. I mean the actual back button (to the left of the green Shield logo or touch button). By back button, I don't mean "B," on the controller. Nothing skips the intro/credits except for the back button. I backed up my data, deleted the data for Myst out of the data folder, and then opened Myst to get the intro going (as if it's the first time opening the app).

Update on "having to use the mouse" thing! Now if only they would port Obduction to Android. There is also a list of commands for a controller if you hit B. Button A is the selector, and you can slide the marker switches up and down by pressing and holding, and then when you see up and down arrows, you move your right toggle in the appropriate direction (while still holding down A). Left toggle moves you forward, and right toggle moves the viewer. After that, the controller seems to work fine, and every time you open the game, you don't seem to need the mouse again. When you first run RealMyst, you need to use a mouse to get through the intro (just click). Myst has to be sideloaded onto the Shield, and can be done by logging into the Play Store from any browser on any device, and then choose the Shield in your list of devices for install. Noodlecake Studios (they teamed up with Cyan to make the Android app) said mid-March, but they must be running late. Supposed to be released at any point now. Now, it's even better (at least I think so) with being able to "walk through" rather than have to click through "pictures."Īpparently, Riven is in the works as well. I remember this game from when I was a kid.

Looking for content - send us a mod mail if you have something that should be added.(You can also email with a follow up or more detail) Samsung SmartThings hub support (using a dongle) is coming. It's also compatible with the GeForce Now game streaming, a service from NVIDIA costing $7.99 per month. You're basically told 'enjoy the books' and that's kinda it. So much so that it didn't even have a real 'ending' so to speak, just a place where it stopped progressing. Many android apps can be successfully sideloaded if not available on the store. Unlike the later games which all had actual endings, Myst was very open ended. The Shield Android TV supports Youtube, Netflix, Google Assistant, Plex, Kodi (or the optimized SPMC) and many other Android video-streaming apps and games.

The 2017 editions come with an always listening games controller that offers Google Assistant support. It comes in two versions - a 16 GB version for $199/£199 and a 500GB version for $299/£299. The NVIDIA Shield Android TV is a high-powered Android TV device, featuring a Tegra X1 and 3GB of RAM (source).
